Links:
These are just some links to other groups that we have received assistance from or interesting articles we thought were worth reading. Postings on here are not intended to imply that we are connect to these groups, or responsible for any actions they undertake on their own. At this time, PI is NOT a member of the TAPS network and any reference to their organization or staff is not to suggest otherwise. (We hope that will change at some point). ENJOY!

Another East Coast group with a lot of experience under their belts. Great site to browse and their staff is extremely helpful. They have their own chat boards, however, many of them can be found on the TAPS boards as well.
Minnesota Paranormal Study Group, (MNPSG):
A good group with extensive experience. Their site is full of very useful information both from investigations and in the field of Paranormal Research.

There are also groups out there who participate in scams focused on the paranormal community. It is people like this that give our field a bad name. We feel it is our duty to at least warn our readers when we come across one of these groups. We will not provide a link to them, since we do not want to give them additional traffic. Please be VERY CAREFUL out there! Groups that charge money to come to your place to do a hunt, (other than gas money if the trip is a far one), offer to "clear" your place for a fee or "love donation", or charge people to review their evidence are scam artists that prey upon the emotions of frightened people. Do not get sucked in by their lies. If you want to hunt ghosts, get in with a good group and learn. Expensive online "courses" in ghost hunting are a waste of your money.
International Ghost Hunter's Society, (IGHS):
This group is a great example of what not to do. The founders charge large amounts of money for "Ghost Hunting Certifications" while bad-mouthing other groups and not really doing hunts of their own. They ask people to send them photos, do not test the photos, then post them as legitimate...and charge people to see them. We have intentionally left their link off this page, but wanted to provide a warning. Do not waste your time or money. Here is a link to The Minnisota Paranormal Study Group's website page discussing Paranormal Scams online. They provide a good examination of IGHS and how to spot paranormal scam artists.

No one on any of these sites should ask for any personal or credit card information from you. Please do not give out personal or financial information and contact us at our genereal email if a situation like this should occur. Thanks.
